The Raindex REST API gives external systems the same Account-scoped workflows as the Raindex app. Every scoped request carries an API key as Authorization: Bearer …; see Authentication.
Create a Raindex API key
- Sign in and open API Keys in the Developer Console. Keys are created only for the signed-in Account.
- Name the key for the system that will use it. The secret is shown once; store it in that system's secret manager.
- Send it as a Bearer token. The server resolves the key's Account, so an API key needs no Account header.
- Rotate by creating a new key, moving your client to it, then revoking the old key.

Documented is not the same as available to your Account. Each request is checked against your Account's capabilities, object authorization and confirmation rules. Use authenticated discovery in the Developer Console to see what your Account can invoke. How availability works
